Probebly a glitch... and not a Dyson Sphere

This is an image taken from the SMOJUE DU-B B13-4 system about half way across the Sagittarius Gap, between Hillary Depot and Amundsen Terminal. I spotted this black circle just as I was in count down to jump to make next waypoint and stopped to investigate.

  • The object is only visible from this system. I have jumped to a number of surrounding systems and cannot find anything odd in there 'skyboxes'
  • The object dose not appear to move against the other background stars (parallax)
  • The object did not change in any size or position after travelling over 1 million ls from the systems star
  • I cannot identify another small nebula on the gal map corresponding to it's position
  • It is persistent (jump out and back in an it remains)

Given all this I am assuming this is just a rendering issue in just this system. But I though I would share to see if anyone else has seen anything like this.

It's just a sideeffect of how the game treats galactic dust. Saw one once that looked like a coriolis starport.

Maybe dark matter. Did you weigh in by any chance? If it is all there is, it should be somewhat dense.

I keep finding these, the latest one is visible from PLAA AESCS SN-A B14-12. Is it absolutely confirmed that this is just s rendering bug? I feel a bug report coming on to find out.
