Probes now impossible to find. Help?

I have been searching for hours and hours, both in threats 5 and 6 NHSS and the research/science megaship in Delphi. Neither has a dang Thargoid Probe and I need one to show a friend who is new the surface site and star map within. Anyone got an easy location for these?

It may or may not be a thing, but I seem to have more luck when I have something already in my hold (like a sensor or link). Also, it's a long shot but you might find one for sale on a fleet carrier. Otherwise ... what Factabulous said.

I've literally checked like 50 of them so far, none of them even had a sensor (though those are easy as the crashed wreck) to say nothing of a Probe. This is getting tedious.

I do not know if it is nerfed today but I was lucky in 7 NHSS in this link.

I got mine by popping into a Threat 7 SS, grabbed it from under the Medusa's nose and scrammed the heck out of there.
It went smoother than I though. Use a fast hull/module tanked Viper, 1A collector limpet and some tricky FA/off dodging.
Remember to fit corrosive cargo bays.

Yeah i havnt found one due to the unlucky rng...however if anyone's willing to sell my Fleet carrier is buying Its in LP 790-29 just next to the haz rez
