problem accessing coms with Oculus Rift DK2 and X52 joystick

I am having trouble setting up coms while playing with Oculus Rift DK2 & X52 joystick.
Quick coms do not seem to work, and anything I type just does not post to other players.
They keep attacking me thinking that I am an NPC with platinum & palladium in my cargo.
What do I do with this problem?

Double check your bindings. If you're transmitting and people aren't receiving, I think that's a known issue not specific to Rift. It's sporadic - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
