Ship Builds & Load Outs Problem after buying a fuel module :-(

I bought a fuel module, and now I can't buy any goods as I have no cargo hold! There was no warning or information, and the manual is no great help. Is there any way to sell back that fuel module?

Cheers, Scout59

Do you mean a fuel transfer limpet controller or a fuel tank? either will take up a slot and you'll also need limpets (1 = 1T cargo) so the controller can transfer fuel, you can just sell the controller or tank back on the outfitting screen.

As with mining you need a lot of module slots for the limpet drones to work at least a Cobra preferably an Asp, I reckon the controller modules should contain say 5, 10, 15 etc depending on the class rather than using up cargo space.

Yes.You can trade your fuel module in outfitting (at a station WITH outfitting, look in the information panel, in the system map to check that) .. and switch it back, by buying a cargo rack. However, if you have left the station where you bought the fuel module, you may lose money on it (depreciation).

Safe to say we've all done such things, and the manual is tricky, mostly because you have to read it start to finish and can't search it .. the elite dangerous wiki is good for orienting yourself to the way the station services work (link) .. ED does have a steep learn curve but you'll get there, no worries.
