Horizons Problem, bug, or I don't know what I'm doing.

I have a Python.
I stored the military grade composite, so I could get the re-inforced alloy engineered.
Done the deed, and back home.
Tried to swap the re-inforced alloy for the Mil grade composite.
It wont let me do that. The option to transfer the mil to the ship has NO swap option.
When I try to transfer the mil composite to the ship, the two columns show:
On the left is Choose Position, but that is blank.
On the right is shown the fuel tank of the ship.

Please ...... what can I do?

Hi,

I recently shared your frustration, however..... I have read elsewhere on the forums that the hulls are ship specific, you can only switch in and out those that originally belonged to the ship. What I was doing was selecting the wrong hull (even with the right designation) in store to swap with the hull on the ship. I don't think its a bug either, it seems to have been designed that way.

Before 2.3.10 it was the other way around. I was able to buy a Viper armor and after storing i was able to apply it on the Anaconda. Made rebuy much cheaper
Maybe they fixed it and have it broken at the same time?

The Military grade armour is Python specific. It was installed on it before. The re-inforced alloy was on the asp. I changed it from there to the python so I could get more than one item seen to by the engineer.
Oh, and the items didn't come from the store. I have owned them since last year.


EDIT: Wait a mo ..... Is it possible I got this wrong? Maybe back to front? If so, I'd have to buy Mil Grade armor for the python.

If the Mil grade armor can be fitted to the Asp, does that prove I got it wrong?
I will try that now, but please reply anyway.

The Mil grade armor went on the Asp. (hanging my head in disgust)
