Newcomer / Intro Problem finding a station - it's missing.

There is *NOTHING* at the range specified from where I am at. I'm trying to get to that location.

This is what I see for ship location.

This is what I see checking navigation - nothing at that range.

Go into the system map, the station your eagle is in will have a little blue Icon next to it.

Although looking at those screens, there should be a number next to stored ships, because you have a stored ship.

A bug maybe? Try logging out and back in again, See if that resolves anything

Unfortunately the ships screen sometimes seems to tell you the wrong system. The little blue icon on the system view seems reliable for indicating the station, the trouble is if you don't remember which system you left your ship...

Thank you - I logged and came back, nothing different. I did check local system map - it had a station marked (Dalton Gateway) - not over 61k LS away, just 206 ls.

Navigating the UI is a bigger pain in the butt than anything else.

No idea. I launch the game from Steam via the external game option and use Steam's screenshot utility (F12). That is stored on my system at:

F:\Games\Steam\userdata\71707979\760\remote\12614332331503648768\screenshots

Yours will be different (under userdata is your steam account number).

I then uploaded the pictures to photobucket then linked them here. I do workarounds usually when I can't figure something out.
