Newcomer / Intro Problem when launching from pad..ENGINES ON?!

This is a new problem i have been having lately where my engine seems to just auto excell and i go slamming into a wall, Im in the hanger hit launch it brings me to the surface and then BOOM, I dont even have time to react im at like 6 or 7 throottle sometimes foward sometimes backwards. why is this happening, why is the engine not idle?

check the postion where you left your throttle. I have my zero throttle hot keyed to my 'x' key. As soon as I get released, I hit 'x' just to be sure I am at zero power and utilize my thrust to move me into and through the slot.

Probably your analog throttle is spiking and needs to be re-calibrated.

Can you tell us what controls do you use for Elite?

I use flight stick with keyboard if thats whats u mean , and there is a "zero throttle" key?

Yes, its under
OPTIONS - CONTROLS - FLIGHT THROTTLE - SET SPEED to 0%

The default key is bound to x button, if i recall correctly.
