Problem with chat..

I just received a direct message and responded with "/r no" but it told me that there was no one to reply to. Ive had this issue every time I try. I also can't seem to send any direct messages. I've done "/help" to see how the chat window works.

Is there something I'm not doing right?

Why are you using '/r'? As long as you have the cmdr selected you can just write in the chat window and it will be a direct message.

If you have noone selected it will be a local message that everybody in the istance can see.
