I am trying to use both in the game, but am having trouble. Is it possible to do so, or not. (I am on PC) The reason I am not sure is because when I am trying to set the two up in the keybindings, it lets me do it. But when I try to play the game, half of the XBox controller inputs stop working.
What I want to do is use the XB controller only when using the SRV.
But for flight, I want to use the LS, LT, LB, and D-Pad on the XB controller, while using the joystick for other functions. Even combining them together, if possible. (e.g. when holding down the left shoulder button (LB) on the XB controller, I and to use the HAT switch on the HOTAS stick to open the different UI panels. But normally it will be used to increase throttle.)
While landing, I want to use the XB controller for vertical thrust, and lateral thrust. The left trigger (LT) will be for throttle down, and the LB would be for throttle up. The HOTAS joystick will be for pitch, roll, and yaw.
If anyone can help me with this, I would appreciate it. I don't know if I am doing something wrong when setting them up, or if it is just not possible in this game. I can use both at the same time in Farming Simulator 2017, and the configuration I have there works great because it keeps me from almost never needing the keyboard and mouse for anything. Here, I want to keep from using the HOTAS throttle, and the buttons on it, if possible.
