Problem with merged habitats

Hi everyone.

Everything has been good so far. But since yesterday, I' ve been told there a problem with merged habitats. I don' t know why. One of the two can't be functional now. They' ve got three pieces of fence in common. I've got no issue elswere in my zoo with common fences.

Any ideas ?

Thanks.

Hopefully I understand your question-- When I get such errors, I can usually find the problem by trying to highlight the entire habitat's barrier. There's an icon you can click and drag (I think it looks like an arrow on it's side) to highlight as much barrier as you want. Just see if the barrier makes a full loop around by highlighting it all at once-- you might have a gap somewhere. Oh and make sure you've definitely got only one entrance gate per habitat.

Actually there are two different habitats, they each have an entrance door. No gap anywhere. They only have three pieces of fence in common. I have a pop-up telling they' re unfonctionnal as they are merged.
However I did it elsewhere in the zoo several time with no problem.

With that error there really must be a piece between the two habitats that is broken. It can be hard to find it sometimes.
Maybe you can try to just delete the three common pieces that the habitats have, en make it two different habitats. If the error still shows up than these pieces are not the problem and you'll must look elswhere in the barrier. ( You always can click the Undo button to place the pieces back as it was before).
Deleting the three pieces and place a new barrier there is also an option to try.

Check that all of the pieces are marked as habitat boundaries. There's a checkbox on the barrier menu (the one that lets you add windows and anti climb). If it's not checked that could be your problem. For some reason you can't select a bjnch of pieces and check it, you have to look piece by piece.

I think it was a bug. I did everything... So I destroyed the two habitats and rebuilt exactely the same ones with the three pieces in common. And it works. God knows why.
Thanks for helping.

I also have this problem.
I have two enclosures that are connected by only one wall. Every now and then the game doesn't read one enclosure correctly. In my opinion, this is an error when loading the game. My okapi every now and then have to go to the inventory to return to the enclosure again.
Then everything is ok.
Greetings
