Problem with Mine Train

If this has been posted before, I am sorry but I could not find it. When raising terrain under the tracks of the mine train without supports and auto tunnel turned off you can not have the track on the surface of the terrain. You can not place rocks any closer due to the collision box. We need some way to turn off collision like we do supports. The following screen shot shows this.

You can not place rocks any closer due to the collision box. We need some way to turn off collision like we do supports. We also need supports more like the Connie Express.

Everything about collisions detection on coaster and flat ride is wrong and completely unrealistic. The fact there's no option to turn off collisions sure doesn't help.

Well, if you have ever had the good fortune to watch a Coaster go through collision testing in real life (like I have, and its not as fun as it sounds) you would be a little less skeptical about the collision boundary around the Roller coasters. Well, the boundary "Above" the track at least. Below the track I think things are a little squiffy for 'some' of the tracks.
The templates they (some) use to test terrain is Staggeringly large, modeled after people who perhaps have 8' long arms?.
You can probably find pictures of them on google somewhere...
The same is true of Flat rides, any flat rides that leaves the ride boundary at all also has a clearance that, from the ground looks like its 2 foot... But in reality is somewhere closer to 8 foot. Flat rides also have maintenance considerations (in the real world) and honestly, some of the clearance we have in game seems a little closer than it really should be.

Id agree with Parkmaker that the collision boxes around the track sections (Below the track itself) do seem a little on the large side for some rides.
