Newcomer / Intro Problems collecting Merits from turning in Power-Data

Anyone having problems turning in Power-Data? Am I missing something, like no Power-Data for Merits exchange for the Wardaliti System on Mondays, Tuesdays ….

Yesterday (Monday), I’ve tried to turn in Power-Data from settlement raids in the Wardaliti System for Merits at a Power Contact in the Liu Bajara System (Stronghold for Arissa Lavigny-Duval, which I’ve pledged to) and all of the sudden the game tells me „out of range“. Unless the ED Universe has expanded, the range should be 29.88 LY (< 30 LY), it even says so in the galaxy map.
I’ve successfully turned Power Data in, involving the same two systems earlier, 2-3 times last Saturday and Sunday with no problem.
I’ve tried a fortified system (Arissa), which has less then 20 LY distance to Wardaliti, getting the same result (out of range) and I’ve tried again today (Tuesday), always: „out of range“.

Then as a last test I’ve tried 2 different systems, raiding a settlement and turning in collected Power-Data at a Arissa Stronghold which was closer then 30 LY and success! Got my Merits for the Data.
Returning one more time to Liu Bajara system trying to exchange Power Data from Wardaliti – nada, it says “out of range" again.


Hope it’s some Data-Bank-Glitch and it’ll get fixed on Thursday.

Wardaliti has a stronghold carrier in it. Despite what the Galmap UI tells you are tasks you can do in system, if a stronghold carrier is in a system it can not be undermined except by attacking the Stronghold carrier.

At this point all you can do with that data is sell it to a bartender or destroy it.

Ok, thank you for the info. As i said, i was able to turn the data in 2-3 times. Wardaliti has the "best" Tourist settlement to farm for Power Data I found so far - what a shame .
Maybe it gets "reset" today with server maintenance just so i can slip in the data before the no undermining rule kicks in, if not it'll be the bartender .
