Horizons Problems Interdicting

I played this game pretty consistently for about 400 hours until this past August due to work and other gaming interests. Came back to the game a few weeks ago after the guardians update came out. When I go bounty hunting, I use a Vulture with an "A" rated FSD Interdictor. Back in August and prior, I generally had no problem interdicting other ships when I was performing bounty hunting or assassination missions. Probably about a 90% percent rate. Currently however, with the same ship and same set up, after 30 tries, I have had no success at all interdicting ships. What I don't understand is that when I have the target reticule on my opponent, my bar keeps decreasing while theirs constantly decreases (and rapidly). Has something changed since the Guardian update that changed the mechanics of interdiction? I can understand missing every so often, but the last few days it has felt ridiculous.

Any thoughts? Advice?

Thanks in advance!

I lodged a ticket for this same issue. Interdictions with my own modded FSD interdictor stopped working since 2.2 dropped. Not seen any reply on this issue. Dare I say as usual?

I guess I'm an outlier. I have no problems interdicting. I only use a A rated stock interdictor. I notice that you do have to keep the circle a little bit longer in the center with this update. Also my throttle is usually in the mid blue
but I adjust constantly to maneuver the target circle. Sometimes no throttle sometimes full.

Yes I've read some posts on these forums that say they are going to give up pirating due to the changes in 2.2, and the #1 reason being the new difficulty interdicting. FYI.

After todays update interdiction seemed to go much better, but after this last servers reset, ITS A FRIKKING CRAP AGAIN!!! FRONTIER!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!!!! [mad][wacko]
