Problems with climb proof barriers

Anyone else having a problem with climb proof barriers? I've selected the whole habitat and tried to put the barriers on the inside but the system is insisting on putting some on the outside. Have I done something wrong? Is it a bug? Is there a way to talk sense into it or should I delete and start again?

I think I know the reason...
When you put the barrier, did you put it like this

Or this?

If you placed your barriers like the latter drawing, I think that's the reason with the climb proof structure's position.

You're correct, but normally when selecting a whole habitat the game will default to one side for the whole thing.

@sockeyejo are the barriers connected to a habitat gate? If the barriers are just free-standing barriers and aren't considered a habitat perimeter that may be why. Otherwise, I would consider it a bug, because I've never seen this happen before. 🤔

You can change the side the climb proofing is on manually, the same way as you would change the one side glass.
Just select the section of you barrier that has the climb proofing on the wrong side, in the barrier menu on the right click on the cogwheel symbol, and select on which side the climb proofing needs to go.

Thanks for replies. I built it in one go, walls first, then added the gate and then tried to set the climb proof barriers. I'll rebuild it and see if it happens again.

It happens, so far as I can tell, sometimes the game (based on the way we build the barrier) gets confused about what's 'inside' and 'outside'.
