Newcomer / Intro Probs after install

hello,
i've bought the game today and installed it on my pc at home and on my laptop.
at home it works, but on the laptop if i start it i get the message xinst1_3.dll not installed.
i deinstalled the game and installed it once more. its the same message again.

anyone an idea?

Just did a small google search.
Nothing particular on it, but something very close indicating to either reinstall directx or to update it.

Sorry I can't help more, I can't find anything on that .dll

Only thing that remotely seems similar is people reporting games like Rage & CoD not starting with an almost similar .dll error.
Reinstalling directx & a clean graphics driver install seemed to be the solution then.

But as I said, nothing particular on that specific dll.

If you're getting that Xinput1_3.dll error, you will need to update the runtime (I think) - try here.

found it, it was directx, deinstalled and new, now it works, thank you

Just download xinput1_3.dll and install it. Here is downloading link: xinput13dll.com. There are installations instructions as well.
