You do know that none of what they showed will be in 3.0, right? Or in any 3.x? Meaning it wont come before 2019 if they keep their dates, which they have never done? People will eat their hats when there is a game with actual gameplay loops, where you can go to different systems, or when there is at least a single complete system. None of that is on the cards for 3.0 mate. Not even according to CIG themselves.

Over a year, unfortunately. And no, not the same 3.0. Most gameplay loops have been dropped, the major netcode rework is dropped, and you wont get the complete stanton system. Or even the majority of it. The '40-50 stations and a dozen planets' has been reduced to one station and three planets, with only 'the first steps of trading' included. Basically most of what made 3.0 the Jesus Patch is dropped, which is many in the SC reddit are already talking about how 4.0 will prove all the 'haters' wrong. Its inane how people accept this.
