The one feature that kept me coming back to play Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis was the fact that I could create my own island of which to build a park on that could have several different options (such as beaches, small islands, and mountainous terrain). Just playing a sandbox on the story mode islands isn't terribly interesting to me - I'd just play story mode then.
