Well, Im not entirely sure about this, because I am not exactly a trader guy at all, so if anyone can tell me if Im missing something here. To the point, I've gathered riddiculus amounts and varieties of all kinds of market goods with a SRV while I was running around on some moon, like 150 tons of stuff in stacks of 1 to 5 for each good from rare stuff to common market things, loaded them all up in my ship, started selling them over to a station when I landed in one.
Now for each thing I'm trying to sell here, I'm getting indications like "7,634 loss" or "231 profit". What is the reference for these? Because I've picked them fresh off the ground as they were lying there like a patch of potatoes. They were all considered "legal salvage" as I grabbed them with a SRV and for my knowledge I didn't pay a single credit for them at all for the market to reference my sale of Explosives or Biowaste or Taaffeite or whatever as Loss or Profit in anyway (profit that is less than the full price I'm getting for the sale of it).
What gives?
