Profit Margins of trading 'commodities'

So when i do cargo runs, i generally get into the habit of doing multiple missions (especially if they are going to the same system or station) in order to fill up my cargo hold. I also check to see what commodities that station I'm delivering to needs in order to bump up my creds.

Does anyone else feel the same as me regarding the profit margins being very low when you sell the cargo? Would you like to see them increased?

I've just started playing this game last week (I remember playing this on the PC about 25 years ago) and have found that it takes a lot of planning, and yes as you do - check for high value missions (which can totally distract one from establishing solid trade routes). I love that it's not too easy and that regional trade routes are a factor (seemingly) but yes, I do think that the economic system is slightly off but given the level of detail and size, I'm very impressed they were able to fine tune it to what it is today.
