Prognosticator Strategy?

Anyone have thoughts on how to best use them, where to place them best and so on? I don't have a good grasp on how to best exploit them yet.

From my own personal advice, I've used them when areas have a lot of Bloom activity and are dangerously close to Flowering. That way, if you have done the various research, you will have more advantages should a Flowering event occur in that area.

try to put around on edges that hit 4-5 planets. so far with 3 i have almost all covered other than a small handful

Put them on these planets and you'll get all but 2 covered...
