Program for Zoo Layout Planning? :)

Hi Guys,

i am so much into the game, that I want to start planning my zoo layout in somekind of graphics programm before.
Do you have any recommendations what program could support this and is not to complicated to learn?

I am also pretty interested in doing something similar. I thought about either using good old pen and paper, or using the sketch pad on windows, but I'm terrible at drawing. I've already written down which animals will be housed in the different sections of the zoo, so i'm half way there.
The wait for release is killing me

I used to use GIMP all the time until I got Photoshop. I'm really impressed though with their latest release, been wanting to try it out again. But yeah it's a great free program

I hoping to section my zoo by continents (if there are enough animals to represent them all). So, I went into PAINT and did a very general layout of the continents location from a world map, so I would have an idea of my layout. This way, each continent section can be sized and decorated accordingly.

I second Sketchup! I used to use it all the time in a past job to recreate buildings, it is a nifty software. I believe there is a free online version too!
