Progress Missing - No Money - No Ship - No Mercenary Eagle - Nothing

Hey there , so I heard they finally released Gamma so I dropped by again to see what has been added to the game only to find all of my credits , relationships and assets COMPLETELY gone from the game.
So has there been a character reset ?

Cos by golly gees it took me quite a while to accumulate my wealth .

Yes amazingly enough, "beta" means you get to test the game not accumulate wealth for the official release.

why was I not inforrrrmed?
If I was I wouldn't have grinded hauling for so long lol

The personal messenger that FD sent to your house got lost, and had to return with the calligraphic parchment in hand, and report that he could not deliver the personal message because he couldn't find you.

Luckily, I got my personal messenger delivery, so I knew.

The really bad news is it all gets wiped again on the 16th December :D

(at least you know this time though)

Did he get a personally inscribed message to that effect?

I was pretty certain the Gamma Wipe was well publicised - and there have been wipes before, et cetera et cetera.

This is what you get for missing staff meetings. ;)

Council Officer: "But Mr Dent, the plans have been available in the local planning office for the last nine months."

Arthur Dent: "Oh yes, well as soon as I heard I went straight round to see them, yesterday afternoon. You hadn't exactly gone out of your way to call attention to them, had you? I mean, like actually telling anybody or anything."

CO: "But the plans were on display ..."

AD: "On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them."

CO: "That's the display department."

AD: "With a flashlight."

CO: "Ah, well the lights had probably gone."

AD: "So had the stairs."

CO: "But look, you found the notice didn't you?"

AD:"Yes, yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying.'Beware of the Leopard'."

:D

People bugged and bugged for a definitive statement one way or the other so he called in a wipe on the side of caution.

Look for newer posts from Michael Brookes. Now the official word is "probably" a wipe- last I saw anyway.

That's a bit like the Pompeii weather forecast isn't it?
Today's forecast , sunny and probably a major volcano eruption that'll encase the city in 5 meters of volcanic ash , but other than that's its a great day for gladiator matches.

I love that series, fortunately the news about the wipe wasn't hidden that bad, you just had to read the forums and it was plain as day. Wipes should be expected up until release day.

the problem is it's ALWAYS ALWAYS "Probably" and we never know for sure what is and what isn't and with the newsletters that long you'll REALLY have to be bothered to read through all of it to dig up such an information isn't it among all the shiny and sprinkly new features.
