Greetings Commanders.

We've all watched them. YouTube videos with VERY loud intro bits, to videos that are just game-play with nothing but text over the top. (Not great exploration watching video, a bit like Netflix films with subtitles, may I suggest comedy specials for that long run. Thank me later.)

That aside, I'd like to occasionally stream my game while explaining why I do what I do. Because as much as the forum/chat is great, there is nothing better than YT feedback. Mainly because you get the good and the very bad.

With that in mind I've been testing and would like your feedback. Not on the combat, (do that in the YT chat). But the current status of output. I've think I've fixed the end of stream voice cut out issues.

Please be honest on the viewing experience as my plan is to remove the video posted and the very failed attempts that preseeded it. And become "watchable".

Thank you in advance commanders. I will, of course break down my path for those that may stumble across this and seek to do the same.

Yesterday appears to have come together! A few have fed back, it's much appreciated many thanks! I'll be doing some more combat rank later. I'll pop a link here when I "go Live" If you are also doing something boring tune in!

Later today I'll be swapping out to compromised nav beacons and giving that a try. I'll be explaining how I find them, and what "tools" I use. May be of use to some so I'll pop a live link in here before I start :)

Slight delay, realized my OBS was so old I was crippling myself for no reason, So I'm going to work with the new software and see if I can get the output right.

It's direction feedback time. I'm testing 4 basic modes of output here. I really need your help on the following video.

1. The "Reading your messages" screen, how it looks?
2. The "Back Soon" screen. Do I have game play screen up, or do I swap to game trailers etc (You know, if I've gone for a No 2 vs a No 1)
3. How to stop the chat decay on chat from the HTML input, is is CSS or YouTube output?
4. Image choice on all modes?
5. Audio seems a bit, not like it's an echo, but somethings not right, OBS masters please help.
6. Would you even watch on first impressions?
7. Open Discord invites, world of pain, or better for players that may be doing their own thing and just wish to join, ask, or advise?

Most are replying directly and that's very much appreciated. I plan to get back to working on that combat rank live with you guys. And then in to 3.0 with you all :D
o7 Commanders let's make basic streaming more interesting for you, the commanders that watch while playing.

Thank you again to you guys for the feedback, reading the forum posts it appears to onlookers I'm talking to myself! But Alas I'm not, so I want to thank those that have taken their time to message with help and feedback. I want to thank those that have subscribed and now even joining me as well.

I streamed again tonight, the last day of 2.4 and again was not alone while I did so :D. I've updated the errors on the screen options and even improved on some!
I'll be doing the changes to Project: Gap Year Student on the stream in 3.0, so any following that build can catch up there. I'll post the link in that forum closer to the time.

You can catch up on tonight's stream below. o7 commanders I look forward to streaming through the birth of 3.0 and in to Beyond ;) it's going to be a long night waiting for the update :)
