Project Cars 2

I am seriously eager to get hold of this but they closed the Investor Offer. The cars now follow true track dynamics which can change anytime for many reasons. I just really like the shaky Cockpit to add complete immersion and feel I miss this shakiness in E:DD and in VR you don't even get any even though it has an Anti-Shake toggle! Enjoy ;)
Due out late this year...

I'll be definitely picking it up.
Project Cars in VR is already stunning, PC2 should be even better.
Btw. if you haven't tried Dirt Rally in VR, you really, really should.
It's currently my no.1 driving sim in VR.

As Project Cars is the only VR Game i play regularly besides Elite, PC2 is definitely a must-buy for me. I really want to experience this game with full integration of VR (which the current title is lacking here and there).

just dont look behind you ;)

Dirt rally is good in VR. pCARSs is too.... but Assetto Corsa is my pick of the bunch.

(not tried i racing in my CV1 as my account ran out.... it was ok on DK2 tho

Utter shame they opted not to port it across to the Vive. I know there is the Revive hack, but for me the game crashes after 5 minutes.

Yeah iRacing is awesome but it lacks the quick fix that you get from Project Cars and costs a FORTUNE.

It requires some serious commitment to get the best out of it but when you do win a race its a great feeling.

I did pretty good in the novice leagues and won a lot of races and then moved up to race in the senior classes and was 2-3 seconds a lap off the pace at some places. The level of competition is very high.

Be prepared to spend a lot of money on cars and tracks if you do get involved.

Project Cars is much easier to just pickup and race.

Dirt Rally is beyond amazing in VR! After ED, definitely my favourite VR title!
I never got pCars to feel right. Tried for hours getting good steering and FFB but with no success. The game sure looks the part though.

iRacing is equally amazing and stressful! Ive only raced in the beginner series but if you want multiplayer racing, there just isnt a better title then this. And VR support is fantastic!
But as HeavyGroovez says, it requires some serious commitment and if you stick with it youll also throw money at it like crazy. But if multiplayer racing is all you wanna do, that money will be well worth it!

pCars 2 is on my watchlist as the next big racer and I hope I get a better "feel" in it then the first.
DiRT4 is also due but with no VR support and back to the traditional x-games "dudebro" racing of earlier dirt games, ill likely stick with dirt rally.

I mainly play Assetto Corsa for my VR racing fix, which is also stunning. Loved Pcars, so can't wait for this

Assetto Corsa in VR is pretty epic. I bought the new 2017 hybrid F1 cars from an online modding site and they are just stunning in VR. It's just a shame that there is no 'proper' career mode in Corsa that allows you to 'feel' you are competing for something.

If only F1 2017 would be in VR.. my dreams would be completely answered :D

I have 600 hours in Assetto Corsa in VR, over 100 hours in Project CARS.

I recently tried rFactor2 in VR.

I'll never play Assetto Corsa or Project CARS again. A whole new level in experience terms, in feel, in communication of the car's behaviour and intertia through force feedback. The whole racing in VR wow factor all over again.

Strongly, strongly recommended.

rFactor2 is such a pain to get started with tho, but.. yeah I can imagine it's good in VR... maybe Automobilista will eventually add VR ....

I'm just waiting for someone to implement VR for Automobilista. By far my "best feel" sim of these "on-road" sims.

Curious how things change now with the 'new' team behind rF2 and all the changes that are happening. Was surprised to see it on Steam as well. If they could just fix the horrendously backward setup process (it's not 1994 anymore).

Interesting.

Guess I have to embrace this as well.

placed an order for a g29 wheel, so yet another expensive game.
Even though I haven't even bought project cars yet....

I just refuse to play car racing with kb+mouse or a gamepad.
