Thinking things through with the Jurassic Park universe, one thing that could be interesting would be an option to "recycle" parks.
The basic idea would be to take a park that's been built and set the game to modify the park, essentially aging the park as if it were abandoned. Things like buildings and fences decaying, dinosaurs getting loose, foliage expanding out of control, and paths might disappear into the mists of ages. Some dinosaurs may still be in their old enclosures area now with failing/failed fencing, others may have just gotten out of their enclosures and wander the local area, some might be dead, and others might have escaped the area...you might also have disease and injury along with a lot of other potential issues...hell, it might have been abandoned long enough that some might have gender shifted and you have had breeding in some species.
Several of the fully escaped dinosaurs might be available for recapture with missions...
Perhaps having a feature where you could set a park to be locked with a specific building set, but a reclaimed park might have a different one, but could repair existing structures as well.
This kind of setup could also work with the ability to export saves to trade with friends, allowing a successional type game where each person takes it on from the ruins of the previous one. Seeing something new growing from the ashes and just how things change with each iteration of the park some does.
