Projectors for theming rides like Disneyland does

I've been working on a recreation of Space Mountain in this game and I'm impressed with what can be pulled off with the few objects we have in alpha. I've been using tons of the signs and lights to theme everything, but one thing I can't help but wish we had is PROJECTORS.

All those stars and galaxies look amazing, but there isn't anything that can pull that off in Planet Coaster (except those square white lights sunk into a wall).

PROJECTORS would work much like the colored lights we have now - you place and aim it wherever you like - however - they provide the option to upload gifs/videos/image sequences that then project out of the light.

Click on the projector for;

1. Upload image/gif/video/image sequence.
2. Vignette edges.
3. Distort image so the image appears correctly relative to the projectors angle on the wall.
4. Spin/movement effects.
5. Opacity option.

Perhaps the option to upload your own images isn't needed, Frontier could just make their own projectors for us to use.

Either way, projectors would offer SO MUCH when it comes to theming rides. Go on any ride/attraction at Disneyland and there are projectors used, and they look amazing.

tldr; Projectors that work like the colored lights we have now but project images that you assign to it. AMAZING for indoor rides. [yesnod] [yesnod] [yesnod]

that my friend, is an amazing suggestion! i would looooooove this, it allows soo much more detail to the que but also the ride itself!

I would also love if they gave us projectors in the game that were timed, so once the vehicle in the darkride hit a certain point the visual effects projector would turn on. I really want to have the ability to make transparent figures appear as ghosts and phantoms for the darkrides I want to build in PC. Even though the ghosts in The Haunted Mansion are not projectors, it would really bring haunted-themed darkrides a lot more character. I would love to build a darkride themed to an old asylum and to have holograms appear in darkened windows of the facade outside the entry and exit queues.

Awesome suggestion indeed.
In your oppinion, how much of the use case could be covered by customizable signs?
For example, if there existed a borderless, transparent, resizable wall attachment, that would show said (animated) picture file...

Of course if you are planning to do anything close to this we would need triggerable stobe and lighting effects.
