Promotion missions in Odyssey?

Federation/Empire promotion missions. Are there any on-foot missions or are they all ship based? No clue if the RNG is being RNG'y or they don't exist. I know there's one waiting for me in the ship based mission generator.

Actually don't know as I don't have any promotions left, but given the rest of the discrepancies, I'm going to guess they aren't a thing.

Sometimes your progress shows as 100% when it's actually 99.9%. Maybe try and do some extra missions to get to 100% so promotion missions will spawn. Or try a different system, maybe the given circumstances don't favor these missions wherever you are.

Of course it could simply be bugged too.

edit: Oh, you're talking exclusively about on-foot missions. My bad.

No rank up missions for on foot missions. You can't even get missions for wars or elections for on foot which is stupid because both will fit well with on foot.

The only missions related to faction states are Restore/Reactivation missions and as far as I've experienced, they do absolutely nothing towards A) alleviating aforementioned states or B) improving Economy. You're still better off doing the relevant ship missions.

No clue if others have been doing ship based activities to alleviate the issue but the couple of places I've been doing a load of Restore/Reactivation mission are no longer suffering Infrastructure Failure as a status 🤷‍♀️ May of been me, may not of been

Any news on that since the April '22? I'd like to check it myself but I stuck near the Core grinding Exobiology.
