Took off with my promotion mission.
The typical "go there, kill him, return back here, and here is your Sol Permit"
So, there i went, in a almost fully upgraded Combatoutfitted ASP. Full confident, almost cocky, Sunglasses on, feet on the dash, blasted my way out of space port.. "Sol, here i come!! But first kill this poor NPC"
4 Beams, 2 Bursts, 5B shields, 2 A0 shield boosters, 4A power distributor, can hold down the trigger endlessly.. Piece of cake!
So there i was cruising hyper cruise in the system where i could find that guy.. within 30 sec's i found him..

"Harmless" !!!! i thought, YES!. Im almost expert. Easy! Still feet on the dashboard.. Lets do this..
But then i saw "Adaconda" I was like "feet of the dash, sunglasses back in the pocket, sigarette out.. Hmmm, a harmless Adaconda, tricky, but i've beaten dangerous Pythons, and harmless Adaconda's before.. It's doable"
"Dont follow me!" was that NPC shouting over the comms. (wish i took that advise)
Interdicted him, easy.
So the battle begins, well i though, this was no battle, this was slaughter, he was the butcher, i was the lamb!!
I was like. "how?!"
My shields were gone in 4 seconds, i continiously shot his shields without effect.
"HOW?!! This is a Harmless NPC!! HOOOOWWW!!!??"
then 6 defence force Eagles jumped in, and i was like "Whuhaha!! Good!" lets take some distance, recharge my shields, let them do the damage, and i will take the final blow!
But before i could turn my back, those 6 tiny eagles blew this adaconda out of the sky in merely seconds.." Managed to hit this adaconda twice..
"MISSION FAILED!"
I wasn't dead, but mission failed..
Now, can somebody tell me, why i can beat a dangerous Python, and a harmless Adaconda when they are "normal" wanted NPC's still a good fight, but really doable. And as soon as i get this as a mission, this harmless Adaconda is turing in the some godlike NPC?
And how are 6 tiny Eagles with only 2 Small Hardpoints, able to kill this Adaconda in merly seconds? While i was doing NO damage at all?
Still, it was really fun, now if i look back it was awesome, but i was a bit shellshocked back then..
