El Dragoon!

I'm not a Canonn research member, but I'm sure you, of all people, could find proof that I'm connected to them. [wacky] :D

you know there is a hull plate with the term "Ranked: elite" on it in subnautica too, i just thought every one knew about that

Having played a lot of subnautica a while back I know what you mean TC

Though I don't believe the two are connected, chances are we will see similar sights to the downed aurora from subnautica when we get to water world's and I'd love to dock on a platform that leads to an underwater base.

Subnautica is also a very good VR experience imo just like elite all you have to do is turn your head and push the button to make things work and if space legs plays anything like that on launch ill be a happy Commander

El Dragoon, the one question that makes or breaks your theory, and I'm looking at this from a completely practical standpoint, is not just whether they exist in the same universe (let alone, reality), but whether or not they exist at the same point in time. Quick question to anyonewho is savvy; what century does Elite: Dangerous take place? And possibly, if it's even possible to know, what decade in that century? This is a critical point, as if they don't take place around the same time, it doesn't even matter if they exist in the same universe.

Thank you., Cmdr. Corlas. Unfortunately, El Dragoon, though I was kind of rooting for your theory, given that Elite Dangerous takes place in the 34th century, it is impossible for the two events to coincide. Subnautica takes place some time in the late 22nd century, almost 1200 years before the events of Elite: Dangerous.

Actually in the Elite timeline, generation ships left Earth early in the 24th century. (Un?)fortunately that still kinda disproves this theory if Subnautica takes place in the 22nd.

The theory is clearly nonsense from the get-go. Tropes are not automatically references, and references are not automatically lore connections.

I assume the OP was pure sarcasm.

Weren't the generation ships sent out in the Late 21st early to 22nd Century, the Mayflower 97 was launched from Luna in 2097.

But the Empire was founded in the 24th Century so would not be something that a Generation ship would know about, even the Federation was founded n the 2240s
