So after I spotted that the 347.09 wasn't recommended I rolled back to 344 and now all my colours seem washed out. It's not the position cam dimness that happens when you go out of range just doesn't seem as bright as it was before I started messing with the drivers.
Also, now when ED starts I have to restart the OR service otherwise I get colour banding and large black blobs in the image.
Anybody else who rolled back experiencing this?
EDIT: Fixed it. Hadn't set the Rift to 75Hz
