proper DSSA network with MEGA Ships.

It would be good to have a Proper DSSA network in each sector with Megaship where we can sell exo biology and cartography data without any fees. it would also be a good way to introduce new types of mission and a new alien specie or ruins with out the risk of getting back to the bubble and getting destroyed and losing the data.

Player owned Carrier are okay but we should have something that we know we can say safe in for a 1 or 2 month exploration of a sector. There has been 30+ mega ship for colonia so 1 or 2 mega ship in each sector not much of a stretch

I'm a huge fan of the player made content of the DSSA network, and would be sad if that would be made superflous by megaships.

i assume that (as with guardian ruins, thargoid bases and whatnot) any content like "a new alien species" would anyways lead to ingame lore, and assets like stations (as it happened with pleiades, or more recently coalsack, etc.)

so only 3 species ever in the entire galaxy (humans, guardians, and thargoid) that seem very small gen pool for the entire. also till fleet carrier get the interiors exo biology is too much of a risk. the other species could exist in other quadrants

The least they could do in this case would be naming the megaships after the DSSA carrier that was in that spot.

But I think the DSSA is way ahead of the lore. Bubble-Colonia has always made sense to have infrastructure development. But for the rest of the regions, not really.

Always seems weird to me when one player suggests that another set of players should be put out of a role and replaced by fdev doing more work - not like they have enough to be getting on with.

(Like when ppl demand the Fuel Rats are made part of the UI - when they're not in the Fuel Rats ... ugh.)

In all reality we would have mega ship would have been sent to those sector anyway as research ships to do planetary research and surveys.

also as of the moment no carrier can buy EXo and if the commander of the fleet carrier dont upgrade the carriers when interior come out on DSSA will be only useable for hoz style play
