[PROPOSITION] Circumventing the grind for good players

Having cleared my save several times, now, I have an idea how to make life easier for us veterans.
When I clear the save, I really hate going through all those boring small ships like Cobra and Asp to get back to the good stuff.

It would be really nice if players who already finished the campaign and won the game with at least the Anaconda could keep their ship after restart, so they don't have to grind back to it so they could play again.

Maybe not faction locked ships, fair enough, but at least Anaconda would be nice, even though I hate it and don't play much.

How about you just don't clear your savegame?
Anyway, I would prefer multiple CMDR slots but with the option to tranfser credits (and yes... maybe even ships...) between them.
You could then hire them as NPC wings and crew...

But ok I'll bite - if you don't want to re-earn all the ships again, why would you want to reset your save in the first place? Just to reset you reputations?
