I have been following elite dangerous for a while now and I must say I have never played a more impressive game ever. What with the immense detail and mind boggling 1:1 scale galaxy and their plans for the future...I commend you frontier you may be possibly making the greatest game ever to come to gamers.

Although there is still much to do, I agree Elite is great and has immense potential.

Would like to see more progress on content instead of features, though, the galaxy still feels too lifeless and empty.

I agree @OP, there are so much more that can be done, however the skeleton are in place and rock solid.
It can basically go both ways. Fail or become a huge success. I hope for the later.
