Summary
System: YZ Ceti
Station: Clement Orbital (Coriolis Starport, large pads available, 1,220 Ls from main star, 12.07 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Bounty Vouchers for YZ Ceti Blue Galactic & Co
Time limit: 26th February 3310 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Deliveries are urgently needed to begin manufacturing a new weapon capable of causing severe damage to Thargoid Titans.
The initiative is being managed by YZ Ceti Blue Galactic & Co, which aims to protect deliveries by redeeming bounty vouchers on all wanted ships.
Professor Ishmael Palin has been leading on the project, using theories developed by Ram Tah. Aegis released an official statement on all newsfeeds:
Mass production of the Guardian nanite torpedo and its launcher module has begun. But further supplies are needed to construct enough for simultaneous attacks against all eight Thargoid motherships.
As an additional incentive, modules will be offered to qualifying participants. These rewards are cumulative.
  • Top 75% of contributors:
    • 4D Hull Reinforcement Package with grade 5 Heavy Duty engineering
  • Top 50% of contributors:
    • 5D Hull Reinforcement Package with grade 5 Heavy Duty engineering
    • Ram Tah High Capacity Heatsink Launcher
The campaign begins on 15th of February and will run for 11 days. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Bounty Vouchers at Clement Orbital. Only Bounty Vouchers handed in after signing up will count toward your personal contribution total. The Bounty Vouchers must have been awarded by either the system's controlling faction, or the major faction aligned with the system controller.
Please note that if you have any crew members, a proportion of your bounty vouchers will be automatically assigned to them. These bounty vouchers will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for these bounty vouchers when they are handed in. The proportion of bounty vouchers assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Clement Orbital is located at planet New Caledonia
  • Station services: Commodities Market,Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Interstellar Factors, Social Spaces
  • Nearest Interstellar Factors (with large pads & reasonable in-system cruise distances, other options are available):
    • Clement Orbital - not much use for local bounties but it's there for other stuff
    • Gupt City in Lacaille 9352 (Coriolis starport, S/M/L pads available, 74 Ls from main star, 6.73 Ly from YZ Ceti)
    • Miller Depot & Boston Base in Barnard's Star (Orbis/Coriolis starports, S/M/L pads avaailable, 37 & 61 Ls from main star, 15.09 Ly from YZ Ceti)

Anyone having this problem?

Ofc, you need to employ sensors and trigger discipline...\
NPCs behave like old men that cannot control their sphincters - so while they scan you, they spray you a bit with their weapons... Just pretend it didnt happen.

So, scan before shooting. If they're wanted, kill them, if not... just ignore them even if they urinate on you a bit

So, my experience with this is that when clean NPC attack you, they get an assault bounty... so just more bounties right?

nope, they usually stay under the threshold of getting wanted.
but if you panic and open fire on them while they're clear, you do get a bounty

Well, i just spent about 2h in a haz res - the only anomaly i've noticed was being shot at while being scanned by them dumb pirates
Also happened with some federal agents they also sprayed me a bit while scanning me

However, i did notice that in some rare occurrences, the pirates scanned me, shot at me in the process, then turned red (even tho i have no cargo) - but then moved away looking for other targets.
So i guess this behaviour is also possible with clean npc like PP agents or System Authority ships. And having them red on the radar, even if they're not actively trying to get you, can lead to confusions...

Pretty annoying to have this bug for so long in the game... but what's new?

Yeah, so i think if you don't retaliate, and the ship didn't have a reason to attack you, it won't.

deployed fighter will attack any ship thats fires on you and even though you didnt engage you become wanted often happens after a assisination mission if you are sat around charging up shields and you fighter is still out,.often as not its a cop who has had a bad day.

A SLF piloted by crew absolutely will react though.

Yea, that's the reason i never deployed my SLF, not a single time, during the session i mentioned above - too much hassle

For the "i WiLl nOt bE yOuR cOnTeNt mObiUs SoLo oNLy gWeEfUr" crowd.

Haven't been in inhabited space for two years. Decided to fire up the alt for a night of CG BH fun. Winged up with three random CMDR's, spent two hours in a hazrez and made 20mil. o7's all around and a great night.

Nah, it cant be that all gankers were busy chasing T-9s (or maybe they're still chasing their partners for the VDay)

I've been attacked a Federal Agent too. Unfortunately he didn't move away but kept firing. It's certainly an annoying bug to have active in the middle of a bounty hunting CG.

Wow... Has it really been that long since I last went to a hazres? 😦

This is the first time I hear about this bug, and I'm pretty sure it's never happened to me.

Anyway, thank you all for the heads-up! o7
