Population is low in Colonia, so does that mean there are no HGEs? Where can I find proto radiolic alloys out here? I’m in a thin-skinned exploration specced Krait Phantom, so not combat ready. I do have SRVs for surface endeavors though.

Any of the Boom/Investment systems will generate HGEs which can have Proto Radiolic Alloys or Proto Heat Radiators. You'll probably only get 1ish HGE per system, but then there are a lot of systems in Boom or Investment, so hop around and you'll find plenty fairly quickly.
3.3 seems to have made HGEs a bit more likely in low population systems.

Thanks Ian, I did find one HGE in Colonia using the FSS in hours of searching. Scooped 3 proto radiolic alloys which provided me 9 of them, plenty to finish grade 5 lightweight for my sensors ��
