PS4 Controller options?

I thought you could only get the Dualshock working on PC with a third-party program?

PS4 Controller already works fine on a PC - not tried it with ED. You just have to connect it via the USB cable and NOT press the PS button on it

Okay. Just connected my PS4 DS Controller to the PC, calibrated, fired up ED - works fine.
You get two joysticks, one DPad, two triggers (as axis if you want) and 8 buttons. (9 including the touchpad)

PS3 needs a 3rd party. PS4 always worked, just not with the full feature set.

Now I'm curious. What happens if your press the PS button?
Your PS4 starts
and the controller becomes wirelessly linked to it (even though it's plugged in to the PC). Quite annoying.

Since Thrustmaster withdrew the T-Flight HOTAS X, they replaced it with the T-Flight HOTAS 4.
I've been using one for the last few months, and apart from not having 2 buttons that were never used and the trim being blue, it's the same stick.

So far it only works in War Thunder, so it's not a NATIVE PS4 controller like the Hori TAC-4 Mouse and Keypad rig.
