I have had a brief search this morning but couldn't any other posts about this.
I was wondering if anyone had much success using a PS4 controller with Elite, people seem to be using the 360 controller or joystick(s). I bought a very cheap (and not very good) gamepad which I really struggled with as many of the buttons were bound to each other.
However after a bit or hunting I found a bit of software called DS4Windows which helps with connecting a PS4 controller as a 360 controller to a PC, although it seems loads of additional buttons can be mapped as well.
It seems to work fairly well, although I need to do some tweaking. Would be foo to know if anyone else is doing the same and what profiles they are using.
By the way I'm loving the beta so far, I'm not getting much time on it as I have a 6 week old baby in the house (bad timing by him!) but am looking forward to future beta releases which might allow me to make a bit more of the game in some shorter periods of time playing.
