PS4 Horizons

I am a little confused.

When we (PS4) Digital Download "Deluxe" Edition players start up the game for the first time, will it be the "Horizons" update right from the start?
Or, will Horizons be an aditional release soon after the base game drops tomorrow?

I am hoping it is the former.
But, I cannot find any confirmation of this in the PS4 FAQ.

You bought Horizons already. Just look at the description of the game you purchased in the PS Store. You also got the Commander Pack.

Yeah, I know I "bought it" already.
It's just it is worded strangely in the PSN Store.
The way I read it, it sounded like Horizons isn't actually part of the initial release.
Sort of like the Deluxe Pack includes Horizons like other games include a "Season Pass".

I am just trying to make sure that when I start playing in three hours I can actually land on planets, and start seeking out engineers.

Elite Dangerous = just the base game.
Elite Dangerous Commander Deluxe Edition = base game and horizon dlc plus extra goodies.

At this present time, ones only choices are either the basic starter base edition or the delux, which has everything in it. The horizon will be available later at some point.

I would imagine that the deluxe version gives access to the base game and horizons - FD say both are available on all platforms (and even horizons owners need the base game every so often when they get their SRV stuck)

If you bought the Deluxe version or the Legendary version you will have access to both the base game and horizons right from the start. Enjoy. :)
