I was wondering if using the Mouse and Keyboard was frowned upon on the ps4? Aiming with fixed weapons via thumbsticks isn't cutting it for me. Yet all the best pvp weapons are of the fixed designs. So I was either going to try my luck with the Hotas or get a mouse and keyboard/controller emulator. Games like Rainbow Six recently declared using Mouse and Keyboard is cheating on consoles. What's ED official rules concerning such matters and what's the general viewpoint of the community?

I use a Hotas4 and really enjoy it.
I have no idea how well (or even if) what you're suggesting works with Elite on PS4.
If you want to practice some time let me know.
