I was in the exact same situation, except that I purchased Odyssey directly from Frontier's store rather than Steam. Works just fine.

(I do understand if you are concerned about spreading your credit card info to more websites that absolutely needed, and would prefer to keep it at a minimum, ie. in this case would prefer to buy from Steam so that you don't need to give your credit card info on yet another third-party server. I don't think Frontier supports services like PayPal, which would allow centralizing your credit card info to one single site, but oh well.)

I appreciate the help, everyone. I purchased Elite for the PlayStation back before Horizons came out with a mac.com email address, then a year or so support transferred it so I could play on PC. Then last week purchase Odyssey, but instead used a me.com email address. That must be the issue. I will contact support to see if they can help or just uninstall and buy another copy of Elite using the me.com email address.

I'm fairly sure that support will fix this for you. I managed to buy the Odyssey DLC using the wrong account and support moved it to the right account.

I had to go look this up, I am getting old, LOL. The PS4 launch in the US was 11/15/2013 the version for PlayStation 4 was released on 27 June 2017. I now play it on the PS5. The first console to get Elite was the XBOX in 2015.

Also, I messaged FOntier on their facebook page, but no response yet. It's difficult to find how to contact them. Don;t they have a simple email address for support?
