It's always down Thursday morning (UK time) for maintenance and serverside patching.

It's also worth pointing out the weekly server maintenance also seems to change station prices, system states etc.

I've had many a good trade route lose its profitability on a Thursday so I normally wait until Thursday evening/Friday morning to search for routes, never Wednesday night lol

Don't take the above as an actual fact as im sure it varies but I've noticed it happen enough times to be wary!
