PS4 Release = 2.4 Date?

Checks calendar ..... not showing April 1st, but maybe I have slipped into an alternative universe where every day except April 1st is All Fools' Day :D

Not so sure 2.4 will come same day, but I expect FD have a few surprises (Thargoids!) in store for the same time to help create a bit of a buzz.

PS4 release was originally supposed to coincide with 2.3 and got delayed, why would it suddenly be 2.4? C'mon now.

The only announcement I heard for PS4 was Q2 2017. It was never said to be in conjunction with any specific release to the best of my knowledge.

Nope. It was always a Q2 release. Some thought that 2.3 would come out at the same time, but FD never said that. Infact they said 2.3 would be out first, then the PS4 and then 2.4 after that. You can easily look it up in the PS4 section of the forums. Loads of official info there.

Can we stop with this?
They meant full Horizons' season access, meaning it will ship with 2.3, and get 2.4 whenever it gets released (fall at the earliest).
(For the record they just *added* the option to buy just the base game)

That was actually delivered earlier, it was the 2.3.01

My guess, though, is that we will probably see 2.4 beta launch sometime around the 27th of June to the 4th of July......or thereabouts.

Yep. Don't know where this misinformation got started, but 2.4 has NEVER been tied to the PS4 release... EVER. Nothing from FD has ever indicated that would be the case either.

This is yet another example of certain low information players making stuff up.
