PS4 release date issue

I was hoping to find some confirmation about the botched PS4 release date; it is causing an uproar on Playstation Network because it still says it releases in December, in spite of Frontier and Sony both being aware.

I know from experience how difficult Sony is to work with and all I seem to be hearing from other concerned people is that Sony tech support reassures it will be fixed. This however is not confirmation, nor was the reply I received on the first day when I sent a support ticket to Frontier.

This has hundreds of people on PSN worked up so I highly recommend someone takes notice to this issue.

This is only on the US PSN store that the date is still a placeholder, everywhere else in the world it has the exact date.
The game will release worldwide on June 12th.
Either they forgot to change it or are just incompetent on the US PSN store.
Anyway, I hope they fix it soon because we had already many threads about this.

It's a mess up with the US/NA version of the PSN. Everyone else has the correct date. You can preorder the game now or buy it June 12th, this is only for the digital version. The physical version won't be released till July 3rd. Please spread this around the PSN community.

I really don't understand the problem nor why anybody would be worked up about this. As if they're gonna pass on the cash and say ''nah, we won't sell it until December 31st''. Don't forget, they're in this to make money first and foremost - it will be available on June 12th....calm down.

like I said Sony is notorious for these screwups

I know know on Facebook the biggest issue is that people are complaining that they can't see the countdown.
