PS4 Release date

I recently just preordered JW:E on PS4 through the PS Store and I noticed that on the store it said that the release date for the game was on 12/31/2018.

However, I’m reading everywhere that the game is coming out on June 12. I’m guessing this is just an error?

The date is wrong. It hasn't been corrected. The game will be available via download for Steam/PC, PS4 and Xbox one on June 12th. The physical release will come on July 3rd.

It was used as a placeholder date before the official release date was revealed. They're just too lazy to update it.

Nope. Ps4 store is actually the correct date. Jurassic World Evolution is releasing on the very last day of the year.

They need an official release date thread and to pin it as you said. Cause this is getting ridiculous.

I checked on the ps store on the platform. Mine shows the correct date and says 45 days xx hours etc to go. I’ve preordered the deluxe edition, maybe that’s labeled differently. Or maybe it’s because I’m in Australia. Not sure why mine is correct but others aren’t.

To be honest, mine was always labeled correctly. The day I purchased the game it said 65 days (and so on) to go. It really weird that the North American store is wrong. But in the end I’m sure all will be fine.

Yes I tend to roll my eyes now every time I see one of these threads appear. Not because someone is asking the question, but because it hasn’t been fixed.
