PS4 save file transfer

Already asked twice but got no answer so lets try a third time. How can I transfer my 20 ps4 save files to my ps5? I could not find any hint ingame but blog post states it is possible with latest update. I have not installed the game on ps5 yet, only playing on ps4 but I would like to play the new dlc on my ps5 without having to start all over.
Next thing: if I ever manage to transfer my save files will trophies automatically pop up?

Sorry for the late reply! Here's how (this is all on your PS5 console)

• Use Cloud Storage or a USB stick to manually transfer your save files from your PS4 console to the PS5 console.
• Boot up the PS5 version - if there are PS4 saves available on the console, the game should find these automatically
• If PS4 saves are found, a popup will appear asking you to import the saves and make them compatible with the PS5 version.

I found some time today and copied my save files from ps4 to ps5 and started the ps5 version of the game. Unfortunately nothing else than the save files got transfered. Campaign, Challenges and Chaos Theory show 0%. It should be 100%. Even Database entries are gone. No trophies as well.
I loaded the latest save file from Malta DLC with all island on 5 star - nothing has changed.
Pretty disappointed…

After checking in with the team, the save transfer will copy over your save/park progress, but not your overall game progress.

So if you load a save in a specific level, you'll still have your progress there. If you then manage to trigger the Mission Complete pop up, it'll be registered as complete on your PS5.

That's what I did by loading my Malta DLC save file - all islands on 5 star, but unfortunately my progress is still at 0% for the DLC. Funny thing is I can't even start a new Malta Challenge because I have not fulfilled the requirements, as all other Challenges are "unplayed".
Maybe in future updates devs will make it possible to transfer overall game progress.

According to someone from the dev team, you need to trigger the end screen that says "Mission Complete" in order to mark the level as completed.

You can‘t trigger anything in Chaos Theory Mode, sadly. Besides that I don’t have a seperate save game from every mission though. Anyway, I will wait until Devs make it possible to transfer game progress. Otherwise I‘ll just stick to the PS4 Version of the game
