Newcomer / Intro Ps4 to PC

If I transfer my commander to PC from Ps4... ie once only credit transfer!
Does anyone know if you lose in game discoveries Ie.. first mapping, first discoveries or codex discoveries etc when your original commander is deleted. Or do they stay listed within the game ?

As far as I'm aware, if you keep your login and CMDR name, all your assets travel with you*. One caveat would be visited stars I think. If you delete your CMDR, i.e. clear your save, it all disappears - credits, ranks, CMDR... the lot.

* I am sure someone will correct me if this is not true!

you only get a credit transfer - including the value of your ships and equipment nothing else is transferred

youll basically be starting a new commander with loads of credits

They do stay as they were.

Can you keep your commander name? I thought that was not possible. Interested to know.

I have managed to use the same name. There seemed no issue when setting up the pc commander.
