PS5 mining

I tried my hand at mining yesterday and I did make some nice credits but in the course of obtaining 110 tons of Platinum the game crashed a dozen times. I normally prefer to make money on massacre and assassination missions and while mining is a nice change I found the crashes to be a nuisance. I've never had the game crash during combat.

Does anybody have a tip as to how to avoid having the game crash while mining?

Slower release of collector limpets...(n)

Now Yes in a perfect world BC would actually work (Yes many people know from PCs that this is a myth due to drivers and new Tech breaking old games.) and this would not be required but even on PC dumping out collector limpets as fast as possible can cause network lag which causes crashes after network catches up...
And a Mechanical HDD on the Original PS4 slows down the game as a bottleneck by default...
Every time you release a collector the client has to dial home to Fdev...
Every time a collector returns with material, the client has to dial home to update your account...
Its been reported on PC that this can be an issue as well...

The handling of the PS4 network code in elite was allready reported as not good on PS5 hardware...
The PS4 had a standalone networking and video encoding chip set not in the APU...

Thank you. Excellent explanation. I did some more mining and it was still crashing but not as much as previously.
