PSA: Conflict in Ratraii! Loren's Reapers Pledge to Drive the Dirty Rats Out!

I just flew in and out of Carcosa, without a disturbing word from ATC.

Of course, I dumped about 5 MCr of bribes to the non-controlling factions. :)

It's he? Huh. (I have doctor's orders to listen to loud house music at all times, or I'll not be allowed docking at Jaques Station, possibly losing my Pilot's Federation flying licence too. It's because you don't really need station control in Colonia, because in the beginning there was Jaques, and Jaques had a groove. In his house there is only house music. This is perhaps why there are so many confused Belugas in there. Anyway, it appears doing a few hours of yoga at the Vihara Gate is not enough to cure spacemadness, despite what the sadhus there say. They also take donations and are working hard to get yoga classes accepted in the basic Zaonce insurance plan.)

They're tripping way too hard on acid over at Jaques. Took my Asp there the other day, to bolt the FSD booster in it. It was all fine and dandy until I got on top of my landing pad. Wondered why the radar shows I'm backwards eventhough I'm facing the right way. After some confusion I realized the pad is actually in the take-off position. So I turned around, touched down and down to the hangars I went.
Then all of a sudden while I was in the middle of my outfitting, the pad takes off and brings me back to topside. But now they decided that I can't go back to the hangars and blocked all access to station services as well. At that point I decided I've had enough of drunk Belugas and tripping ground crews for one day, and took off.

Elites speed limit is similar to Germany's recommended speed on the Autobahn. You can go faster without getting a ticket, but some people and npc's complain about it and if you have an accident when going over you in trouble. The lagging around Jaques is getting out of hand, dodging a whole pack of jumping Belugas trying to not get detected by station security is not fun at all.

I don't understand why people would play in solo their whole time in Colonia since there is so little threat out here

solo bypasses matchmaking and is a better network experience all around. meaning faster jumps and less instancing weirdness. the only objective reason for playing anything but solo is wanting to meet other players, and it comes at a cost.

Yeah, I fly in solo while I'm exploring for the high-quality screenies.

Sometimes I play in open while I'm bug-hunting for the sake of seeing if anyone wants to wing up and I keep regretting it 'cause the views from Artemis Lodge are amazing.
