PSA: D2EA’s “blood diamond” method is incredibly fun and profitable

Greetings, CMDRS:

If you haven’t seen Down To Earth Astronomy’s video on pirating low temp diamonds from NPC’s, I urge you to take a few minutes to check it out (link below).

I outfitted my battle python with some cargo racks, and limpet controllers, and spent the morning selling blood diamonds on the black market. It’s hands down the most profitable combat activity I’ve come across so far. In just a few hours I made a ton of credits and got my trade rank up to Tycoon.

Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

As a rule I like to play the good guy in games, but seeing as how miners in anarchy systems are scurvy knaves who force small children to prise low temperature diamonds out of asteroids with their bare hands, I may just be able to reconcile relieving them of their ill-gotten gains with my conscience. All profits will of course be donated to the nearest shipyar- er, orphanage.

D2ea’s video really adds value in that he tells you exactly how to find systems with a lot of fully loaded mining ships. I’m not sure if this is already common knowledge but it helps to see someone demonstrate a viable money-making method.
