PSA Orbit lines include FSD mass limits

So I finally got to log in an play with 1.03 and though I would see what Orbit lines Off looks like.
Anyway I plotted a course and began the trip, preparing to scoop fuel from the first star, I began my line up my refueling run.
Normally I try to fly as close to the FSD Mass limit line as possible for the view, but didn't see one so flew close, and Oops.

Anyway just in case others fall for the same mis-step, we now have a new challenge, learning to judge the minimum safe distance to scoop without getting caught by the star.
I am out of heat sinks already but practice makes perfect :D

PS the stars sound so awesome when you are too close.
They seem to each sound different depending on their Class

Heat sinks you say? I've never thought of using heat sinks while fuel scooping.

As for the orbit lines, that's how I judge my distance too, and one of the reasons I'm keeping my orbit lines in place. That and station approach orientation.

Have never used orbit lines for fuel scooping myself, through trial and error I know how I can look upwards to see the star and adjust my pitch to skim without getting too hot. But I can see how it would be a change, as I use orbit lines for approaching stations. Hate coming in on approach only to realize there's a big hunk of rock in my way.

Yeah it is just getting used to it, getting there slowly.

Oh, the heat sinks are for when you are forced out of Super Cruise by the star, not for during the actual scooping.
I don't think one can use heat sinks in Super Cruise any morea
